Tell us about a mistake on the site. We are not an appeals service and we cannot appeal your ticket — but we can make sure the page you were reading is right.

UK-specific guidanceSources shown on every guideReviewed 8 September 2026

The most useful thing you can send us is a correction. If a figure on this site is wrong, out of date, or contradicted by the council's own page, tell us — a page address and a link to what says otherwise is enough, and we will fix it and change the date on the page.

What we cannot do

We cannot appeal your ticket, and we cannot tell you whether your appeal will succeed. We are not lawyers and we are not an appeals service. If you write to us with your notice and ask us to take it on, we will have to say no — not to be unhelpful, but because the honest answer is that the appeal is yours to make and it costs you nothing to make it.

What we can do is make sure the page you were reading is right. That is a slower kind of help, but it is the kind that also reaches the next person in your position. If you have not read it yet, the appeals section sets out the stages and the deadlines for both kinds of notice.

Write to us

We normally reply within one working day. Everything except the subject line is needed — the email address so we can answer you, and the message so there is something to answer.

Used to reply to you, and for nothing else.
Optional. A page address here helps us find what you mean.
Please do not send us documents, photographs of your notice, or your vehicle registration. We do not need them, and we would rather not hold them.

We store your email address, the subject, your message, and a one-way hash of your IP address that stops the form being used to send bulk mail. Your IP address itself is never stored. The privacy policy sets out the detail.

Or just email us

If you would rather not use a form, write to info@parkingcharges.co.uk. It reaches the same place.

Common questions

Will you appeal my parking ticket for me?
No. We are not an appeals service and we do not charge for anything, so there is nothing we could take on. Appealing is free on both tracks — a council appeal goes to a free tribunal, and both private appeals services are free to motorists. Be wary of anyone who offers to do it for a fee.
Can you tell me if my appeal will win?
No, and anyone who tells you they can from an email is guessing. What we can do is point you at the stage you are actually at and the deadline attached to it, which is where most people lose ground.
I have found a mistake on the site. What should I send?
The address of the page, the figure or sentence you think is wrong, and — if you have one — a link to the council, tribunal or legislation page that says otherwise. That is enough for us to check it against the source and correct it.
Do I have to give my name?
No. The form asks for an email address so we can reply, and nothing else about you. Please do not send us your vehicle registration or photographs of your notice — we do not need them.
